BioLinkStore
Turns an Instagram bio link into a store: catalog with variants and stock, three templates, and the order arrives on WhatsApp already written. Multi-tenant on one schema, 0% commission, $0/month infrastructure.

Seven years of backend-heavy work. Python is my main stack; I am just as at home in PHP/Symfony, Go and TypeScript. On the side, ten products and developer tools that I designed, built and still operate. Each one is documented below as a case study.
Products, developer tools and client work I designed, built and operate. Each card opens a case study with the problem, the decisions and the numbers.

Error tracking, tracing, uptime, crons and status page in an 18 MB binary, compatible with the official Sentry SDKs: change the DSN and it works. 19.7 MB of RAM at rest versus the 16 GB minimum Sentry self-hosted publishes.
Digital site logbook for civil engineers. The daily report is entered once from the phone; from that same state come the WhatsApp message the group already reads, a shareable page with photos, the task board and the logbook. In real use on job sites since June 2026.
Auto-parts marketplace with three roles (buyer, seller, admin), a checkout that produces one order per seller, and a photo catalog. Running in production at $0/month on Firebase Hosting, Render, Supabase and Cloudflare R2.
Go CLI to share encrypted .env files through self-destructing links. The key travels behind the # in the URL and never reaches the server: a stolen database yields only ciphertext. The recipient opens the link in the browser and decrypts locally.
Corporate site for a Venezuelan elevator maintenance and parts manufacturer. Static Nuxt 3 with catalog, thermography diagnostics, an express quoter that ends on WhatsApp and a single function for the form. Plus four printed pieces from the same system. It closed its first client in its first month online.
Self-hosted web analytics: one Go binary and one Postgres for pageviews, events and errors across all your projects. Extends without a fork: a .js file in a folder hooks every event before it is stored and adds panels to the dashboard, with no Node and no extra process.
A Go binary that knows what runs on which port, starts and stops projects of any stack, names them in the browser (project.localhost) and exposes it all through a CLI, a web dashboard, an HTTP API and an MCP server so agents can operate your dev servers too.
Multi-rate exchange calculator for Venezuelan merchants: type one figure and see six currencies at once (Bs, BCV, EUR, Monitor, USDT, ETH). No backend: the client reads four public sources in parallel and runs at $0/month.
A single ek command that grows with pip-installable plugins: project registry, per-branch tasks and Git automation. The public plugins number commits per branch and mirror QA → Prod with cherry-picks.
Backend-first roles on products with real users: insurance, social networks, payments, e-commerce.
Car-insurance insurtech. Technical owner of Defender, the claims core (PHP 8.5, Symfony, Doctrine, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ). 762 PRs merged across 10 services.
Sports social network with real-time communication and on-chain payments. Led the backend.
Software agency. Modules and microservices across client projects, from medical platforms to remote-work tools.
Social network for crypto and NFT commerce. Backend for high-traffic modules and on-chain integration.
Distribution company. Ran the systems department and built its internal automation.
I am Antonio Vila, a software engineer from Venezuela. I started in 2019 running the systems department of a distribution company and moved to remote product teams in Spain, Colombia and Mexico from 2022. I care about systems that stay small, documented and cheap to operate, and about writing down why each decision was made.
API, data model, frontend, deploy and monitoring. Every project on this page includes the operations side: deploys, budgets, incident fixes.
Architecture decision records, honest retrospectives and measured numbers instead of adjectives. trapline alone has 35 ADRs.
Worked with teams in Madrid, Bogotá and Mexico City from UTC−4, which overlaps with the US East Coast and the European afternoon.
Send the role, the stack and the overlap you need. I reply within a day.
